HMS Centurion (1732)  (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Centurion was a fourth rate, 60-gun, ship.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 06-Jan-1732, 144ft long, 33ft wide and of 1,005 tons builders measurement.

Was the only ship out of seven to complete George Anson's circumnavigation of the world.

Broken up Dec-1769 at Chatham.

Won the Battle Honours: 'Nuestra Senora de Covadonga' 1743, Finisterre 1747, Louisburg 1758, Quebec 1759  and Havana 1762.
