This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Porpoise was one of
20 Acasta Class destroyers. Built by Thorneycroft, laid down 14-Mar-1912, launched 21-Jul-1913 and completed Jan-1914. Sold 23-Feb-1920 for later resale to the Brazilian Navy as the Alexandrino Dealenca. Won the Battle Honour: Jutland 1916.
