Wooden Screw Frigate 51-gun

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Aurora was a 51-gun, wooden screw frigate.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 22-Jun-1861, 227ft long, 50ft wide and of 2,558 tons builders measurement. Armed with 1 x 68pdr, 30 x 8in and 20 x 32pdr guns.

Broken up Dec-1881.
