This the third ship to carry the name HMS Aurora  was a sixth rate, 28-gun, ship.

Built by Perry of Blackwall, launched 07-Jun-1777, 121ft long, 35ft wide and of 596 tons builders measurement.

Sold 03-Nov-1814.

Won the Battle Honours: St. Lucia 1778, Minorca 1798 and Guadeloupe 1810.
