This the third ship to carry the name HMS York was a fourth rate, 60-gun ship.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 10-Nov-1753, 150ft long, 43ft wide and of 1,203 tons builders measurement.

Broken up by Jun-1772. 

Won the Battle Honour: Louisburg 1758.
