HMS Triumph (1939) SS  (9th)

    
This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Triumph was a Triton or T Class submarine.

One of the first of three groups of Triton Class submarines, built by Vickers Armstrong of Barrow, launched 16-Feb-1938 and commissioned 02-May-1939.

Believed mined and sunk South Aegean Sea, about 31-Dec-1941.

Won the Battle Honours: Malta Convoys 1941 and Mediterranean 1941.
