HMS Triumph (1873) BB  (7th)

    
This HMS Triumph was the seventh to carry the name.

She was an Iron Armoured Ship built by Palmer, laid down in Aug-1868, and completed Apr-1873. 

Early service was in the Channel and Mediterranean. Then followed two spells in the Pacific, from 1878082 and 1885-88.

After a short spell as Flagship at Queenstown, she went into Reserve from 1892-1900.

After this she was used as a depot ship Apr-1904 and renamed Tenedos. Renamed Indus IV 1912, then renamed again as Algiers Jan-1915.

 Sold in 07-Jan-1921.
