This HMS Trafalgar was the third ship to carry the name.
She was built at Portsmouth Dockyard, laid down in Jan-1886, launched 20-Sep-1887 and completed in Mar-1890. She served as 2nd Flagship in the Mediterranean from 1890 -1897. Then returned to home waters as guardship at Portsmouth until 1902, when she went into reserve. A change to drill-ship at Sheerness followed from 1907-09, then it was back into Reserve. Sold 09-May-1911.
