| This the first ship to carry the name HMS Trafalgar was a first
      rate, three deck, 100/104-gun ship-of-the-line. Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 26-Jul-1820 having spent seven years on the stocks. 196ft long, 52ft 6in wide, 22ft8in deep in the hold and of 2,386 5/94 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Camperdown 22-Feb-1825, and reduced to harbour service 1854. Reduced to a coal hulk at Portsmouth 1857 and renamed again 29-Aug-1882, this time to HMS Pitt. Sold 15-May-1906.
