This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Thetis was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built at Rotherhithe, launched 23-Sep-1782, 141ft 6in long, 39ft wide and of 946 tons builders measurement.

Sold 09-Jun-1814.

Won the Battle Honours: 'Prevoyant' 1795, Egypt 1801 and Guadeloupe 1810.
