This the second ship to carry the name HMS Thetis was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built by Okill of Liverpool, launched 15-Apr-1747, 126ft 6in long, 36ft wide and of 720 tons builders measurement.

Used as a Hospital Ship from Jul-1757.

Sold 09-Jun-1767.

Won the Battle Honours: Lagos 1759 and 'Bouffonne' 1761.
