HMS St Albans (2001) FF  (6th)

This the current and sixth ship to carry the name HMS St Albans is the 16th and last Type 23 Duke Class (1990) Frigate.

Built by BAE Systems at Scotstoun, laid down Apr-1999, launched 06-May-2000 and completed Nov-2001 and commissioned 06-Jun-2002.

Took part in the Trafalgar 200 Fleet Review.

Underwent a 15 month long refit at Rosyth 2007 and returned to service Jul-2008.

In service Apr-2011.
