This the second ship to carry the Name HMS Russell was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by West of Deptford, launched 10-Nov-1764, 168ft 6in long, 47ft 6in wide and of 1,642 tons builders measurement.

Sold 1811 in the East Indies.

Won the Battle Honours: St. Kitts 1782, The Saints 1782, First of June 1794, Groix Island 1795, Camperdown 1797 and Copenhagen 1801.
