This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Russell was a Type 14,
Blackwood Class, anti-submarine frigate. Built by Swan Hunter, laid down 11-Nov-1953, launched 10-Dec-1954, commissioned 07-Feb-1957. Sold and arrived at Portsmouth 01-Jul-1985 for breaking up.
