This the second ship to carry the name HMS Royal George, was originally HMS Royal Charles, renamed Royal George 1715.

A first rate, 100-gun, ship-of-the-line, built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 1673, and of 1,443 tons builders measurement (bm).

Renamed HMS Queen 1693 and rebuilt at Woolwich as 1,658 tons bm.

Renamed HMS Royal George 09-Sep-1715.

Rebuilt at Woolwich as 172ft long, 49ft 6in wide and 1,801 tons bm.

Renamed HMS Royal Anne 19-Jan-1756.

Broken up 1767.
