This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Royal George was a first rate, 120-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 22-Sep-1827, 205ft long, 54ft 6in wide and of 2,616 tons builders measurement.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Conversion to a screw ship completed 22-Jun-1853, with a reduced armament of 102 guns.

Sold 23-Jan-1875.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854-55.
