This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Pheasant was an
Albacore class, 4 gun, wooden screw gunboat. Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, laid down 15-Feb-1856, launched 01-May-1856 and completed 31-Jan-1857. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Broken up Aug-1877 at Northfleet.
