This the first ship to carry the name HMS Pheasant was a 14-gun, sloop.

Originally French (Faisan), captured Apr-1761 by HMS Albany, 106ft long, 25ft wide and of 291 tons builders measurement.

Foundered in the English Channel Aug-1761.
