Wooden Paddle Sloop 4-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Medea was a 4-gun, wooden paddle sloop.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 02-Sep-1833, 180 ft long, 32ft wide and of 835 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 10in and 2 x 12pdr guns.

Sold 1867.

Won the Battle Honour: Syria 1840.
