HMS Galatea (1810)  (3rd)
5th Rate 36-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Galatea was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 31-Aug-1810, 145ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 947 tons builders measurement.

Used as a coal hulk from Aug-1836.

Broken up 1849 at Jamaica.

Won the Battle Honour: Tamatave 1811.
