HMS Eagle (1774)  (11th)

This the eleventh ship to carry the name HMS Eagle was a third rate, 64-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Wells of Rotherhithe, launched 02-May-1774, 160ft long, 44ft 6in wide and of 1,372 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1790.

Renamed HMS Buckingham 15-Aug-1800.

Broken up Oct-1812 at Chatham.

Won the Battle Honours: Sadras 1782, Providien 1782, Negapatam 1782 and Trincomalee 1782.
