This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Eagle was a fourth rate, 58-gun ship.

Built by Barnard of Harwich, launched 02-Dec-1745, 147ft long, 42ft wide and of 1,130 tons builders measurement.

Sold 09-Jun-1767.

Won the battle Honour: Ushant 1747.
