This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Dragon was a wooden paddle frigate.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 17-Jun-1845, 20ft long, 37ft 6in wide and of 1,270 tons builders measurement.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold 07-Oct-1864.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854-55.
