This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Cumberland was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 29-Mar-1774, 169ft long, 46ft wide and of 1,647 tons builders measurement.

Broken up at Portsmouth 1805.

Won the Battle Honour: St. Vincent 1780.
