This the second ship to carry the name HMS Bellerophon was a third rate, 80-gun ship-of-the-line.

Originally HMS Waterloo, built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 16-Oct-1818, 192ft long, 50ft wide and of 2,056 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Bellerophon 05-Oct-1824.

Used for harbour service 1848.

Sold 12-Jan-1892.

Won the Battle Honours: Syria 1840 and Crimea 1854.
