HMS Venerable (1808)  (2nd)
3rd Rate 74-gun 

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Venerable was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, launched 12-Apr-1808, 174ft long, 48ft wide and of 1,716 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Oct-1825.

Broken up Oct-1838 at Plymouth.
