5th Rate 46-gun

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Thames was a fifth rate, 46-gun, ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 21-Aug-1823, 151ft 6in long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,088 tons builders measurement.

Used as a convict ship from 1841.

Sunk 06-Jun-1863 at her moorings at Bermuda. Wreck later sold.
