This the third ship to carry the name HMS Stag was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 25-Jul-1812, 145ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 947 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Sep-1821.
