This the first ship to carry the name HMS Stag was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Stanton of Rotherhithe, launched 04-Sep-1758, 125ft long, 36ft wide and of 707 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Jul-1783.

Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1762.
