This the second ship to carry the name HMS Stag was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 28-Jun-1794, 135ft long, 36ft wide and of 792 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 06-Sep-1800 at Vigo Bay.
