This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Scarborough was a sixth rate, 22-gun, ship.

Built by Blaydes of Hull, launched 17-Apr-1756, 107ft 6in long, 30ft 6in wide and of 433 tons builders measurement.

Foundered in the West Indies during a hurricane, 05-Oct-1780.

Won the Battle Honours: Louisburg 1758 and Quebec 1759.
