This the third ship to carry the name HMS Scarborough was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Parker of Southampton, launched 1696, 108ft long, 28ft 6in wide and of 391 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French on the coast of Guinea 21-Oct-1710.

Recaptured 31-Mar-1712, by HMS Garland,

Sold 27-Sep-1744.
