HMS Ruby (1776)  (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Ruby was a third rate, 64-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 26-Nov-1776, 159ft 6in long, 44ft 6in wide and of 1,369 tons builders measurement.

Used as a receiving ship from 1813.

Broken up at Bermuda Apr-1821.

Won the Battle Honour: Cape of Good Hope 1795.
