This the second ship to carry the name HMS Repulse was a  fifth rate, 32-gun ship.

Originally the French ship, Bellone, captured by HMS Vestal 21-Feb-1759, and renamed.

122ft 6in long, 35ft wide and of 676 tons builders measurement.

Foundered Dec-1776 off Bermuda.

Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1762.
