This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Minerva was a fifth rate, 46-gun, ship.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 13-Jun-1820, 152ft long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,082 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1861.

Sold 28-Feb-1895 at Portsmouth.
