| This the first ship to carry the name HMS Lancaster was a second
      rate, 80-gun ship-of-the-line. Built by Wyatt of Bursledon, launched 03-Apr-1694, 156 ft long, 42ft wide and of 1,198 tons builders measurement (bm). Rebuilt at Portsmouth 1722 as 1,366 tons bm. Broken up 1743.
