HMS Handy (1940) DD  (5th)

     
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Handy was an H Class (1940) destroyer.

Built by Thornycroft, for the Brazilian Navy (Jurena), laid down 06-Jul-1938, launched 01-Aug-1939, bought 04-Sep-1939, and commissioned 10-Feb-1940 as HMS Handy.

Renamed HMS Harvester 27-Feb-1940.
