This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Greyhound was a sixth rate, 16-gun, ship.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 1672, 93ft long 21ft 6in wide and of 180 tons builders measurement. Armed with 16 x 6pdr guns.

Sold 13-May-1698.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
