This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Greyhound was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built by Stacey of Deptford, launched 13-Feb-1719, 105ft long, 28ft 6in wide and of 371 tons builders measurement.

Breaking up completed Jun-1741 at Deptford.
