Bomb Vessel 14-gun

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Fury was a 14-gun, bomb vessel.

Built by Ross of Rochester, launched 04-Apr-1814, 109ft long, 28ft 6in wide and of 377 tons builders measurement. Armed with 10 x 24pdr carronades, 2 x 6pdr guns and 2 mortars.

Used as an Arctic discovery vessel 1824. Bilges stove in by ice 01-Aug-1825 at Regent Inlet.

Won the Battle Honour: Algiers 1816.
