HMS Echo (2002) SVHO  (12th)

This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Echo is a multi-role (hydrographic/oceanographic) survey vessel. The first of a class of two.

Built by Appledore Shipyard of North Devon, launched 02-Mar-2002, entered service 04-Oct-2002 and commissioned 07-Mar-2003.

Refitted late 2009 to Mar-2010.

In service June 2010.
