This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Diomede was a batch
3, Leander Class frigate. Built by Yarrow, launched 15-Apr-1969. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. Sold to the Pakistani Navy, handed over 15-Jul-1988, and renamed PNS Shamser.
