This the second ship to carry the name HMS Cossack was a wooden screw corvette.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet for the Russian Navy, seized 05-Apr-1854 during the Crimean War, launched 15-May-1854.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold 19-May-1875.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1855.
