Wooden Screw Sloop

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Conflict was a wooden screw sloop.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 05-Aug-1846, 185ft long, 34ft 6in wide and of 1,038 tons builders measurement.

Rebuilt 1848 at Blackwall.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1853 and the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Sold 1863.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854-55.
