HMS Colossus (1803)  (2nd)
3rd Rate 74-gun 

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Colossus was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 23-Apr-1803, 180ft long, 49ft wide, and of 1,889 tons builders measurement.

Fought at Trafalgar where she was badly damaged with 43 of her crew killed and 110 wounded. (see: Fleets after the Battle).

Broken up 08-Feb-1826.

Won the Battle Honour: Trafalgar 1805.
