This the second ship to carry the name HMS Churchill was the name ship of the third Class of British
nuclear powered fleet submarines.
She was laid down on 30-Jun-1967, launched 20-Dec-1968 and commissioned 15-Jul-1970. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. No details are known about her service and this needs more research to complete. She was decommissioned in 1990 and is awaiting disposal.
