HMS Camperdown (1945) DD  (4th) 

     
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Camperdown was a Battle Class (1944), destroyer.

Built by Fairfield, laid down 03-Oct-1942, launched 08-Feb-1944, and commissioned 12-Apr-1946.

On completion went to the Far East, returning to the UK 1947 to be put into reserve.

Appeared at the Coronation Review 1953.

Joined the Home Fleet 1957.

Put on the disposal list 1962 .

Sold 09-Sep-1970, and broken up at Faslane.
