HMS Britannia (1682)  (1st)
1st Rate 100-gun

    
This the first HMS Britannia was a 1st rate, three deck, ship-of-the-line of 100/90-guns. (Also known as Britania).

She was built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 1682, 167ft 6in long, 48ft 6in wide, and 1,708 tons builders measurement. 

In 1691 her beam was increased (girdled).

Had a Great Repair in 1701, and was broken up in 1715, with her frames used for the next Britannia.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
