This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Britannia was a Royal Yacht.

Built by John Brown Shipyards of the Clyde, launched 16-Apr-1953.

In time of war was designated as a hospital ship.

Paid off 11-Dec-1997.

Later moored at Leith, port of Edinburgh on display and as an Exhibition Ship.
