This the second ship to carry the name HMS Bristol was a fourth rate, 54-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 08-May-1711, 130ft long, 35ft wide and of 703 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Woolwich 1746 as 1,021 tons bm and 50-guns.

Broken up at Plymouth Oct-1768.

Won the Battle Honour: Finisterre 1747.
